Quick Start Guide for ESET Smart Security

Download and install your ESET software

Go to the Download page. Click on the download button. Put the user name and password that were sent to you into the fields provided to start the download. Enter your user name and password exactly as sent to you. Your download will start automatically. If you click 'Open' NOD32 will download and start the installation automatically. You may save the file to your desktop or to a folder of your choosing (then find and click on this icon).

The ESET installation will walk you step by step through the installation process. The default settings are recommended. During installation the setup will ask you for your user name and password to perform automatic updates. Enter your user name and password exactly as sent to you.

NOTE: Please remember to enter your user name and password exactly as they are written. The user name and password are case sensitive and the hyphen in the user name is necessary. The password is ten characters long and all lowercase. If you are copying and pasting, make sure you don't select an extra blank space. Also, we do not use the letter L in passwords (use the number one (1) instead), a big 0 is the number zero (0), a little o is the letter o.
